Diary, 1862 Aug. 1-Dec. 31, chiefly concerned with work and weather on his Stafford Co., Va. farm, but includes material on his service with the 30th Va. Regt., during the Antietam Campaign, mentioning a visit to the Bull Run Battlefield shortly after the battle [ca. 50 l. 28 cm. transcript (typewritten) photocopy (positive)]--Poem, 1865 Aug. 17, by Crutchfield written for an autograph album, together with ca. 20 miscellaneous clippings pasted on pages of the original diary mentioned above [21 items]--Pages, 1862, from the original diary on which the clippings were pasted [20 p. 20 cm.].
